BE DARING WITH DENIM THIS FALL

Whether you go shopping or dig deep down into your closet for these denim must-haves...make sure you incorporate some of these items into your Fall wardrobe. Most people atleast have a few.

Skinny jeans have been a staple for quite sometime now. My only wish is that this trend would quickly go away form men...really not feelin the "Man-skinnies" any longer. This Fall, try to add a pop of color with red denim or another bold tone. However, you can never go wrong with a dark wash denim like I mentioned in the "MUST-HAVES" post. This Fall you will see more wide leg jeans for that 70’s style silhouette. I wear mine really long with high-high heels, I like when you cant see my feet lol. Another throwback that you’ll see is denim outer-wear; jackets and blazers...you can thank celebrities like Kanye West, Amber Rose, and Rihanna for that!

How much you give in to the trends is really up to you. If you like more of a classic denim look stick with a dark wash and avoid trends like distressed denim which is a style that goes in and out quickly. Either way have fun with it!

Weightloss Controversy

This is a touchy subject especially when someone is in the public eye. To some, Raven Symone was disturbingly plump but to me, she just looked like a normal woman. I loved that about her...it didn't seem as if she had let the pressure of Hollywood change her outer appearance. I can't say that it bothers me that she is losing weight but I hope that it doesn't go too far in an unhealthy way.

People really need to make up their minds though...When she was bigger, she was CLOWNED! Now that she's losing weight, she's being called anorexic. (o_0)

In a contradictory way if she continues to lose the weight, she will suddenly become the next big celebrity fashion icon [think back to Nicole Ritchie].

 I think she looks beautiful either way =)

Mother's Day Out

Video from my day at the mall with my mini-me will be coming soon. People forget about kid's fashion. Being a mother, this is something I am very aware of. My daughter is in love with dressing up, head-to-toe...and yes even MAKE-UP! Trust me I never let her wear her "kiddie-MAC" outside of the house but its funny to watch her prance around in front of the mirror.

So of course, she LOVES to shop...hope you guys like the video :)
